This development is focussed on ecological solutions and construction methods to create an Estate that has minimal impact on its environment during and after implementation. BDS was approached to aid this process by initiating landscape solutions which encompass the Estate’s vision.

The Master Plan development focuses on creating an indigenous forest into which the buildings and infrastructure are “dropped”. The aim to have an indigenous retreat on the slopes of the mountain, where the built environment and the landscape become one, with the interface between internal and external spaces embraced.
